It has a 16 "handle welded on the scoop and a 24" handle that screws into the 16" handle for a total of 40". Two 8" comfortable foam rubber grips. 5" diameter basket. 1/2" welded wire mesh basket. Reinforced basket and handle. 1/8"Foot support plate to aid in digging. The scoop is made of 14 gauge stainless steel construction. Handle is made of 16 gauge stainless steel and is 7/8" diameter. All tig welded construction. Duck mouth design allows for easy digging in both wet and dry sand... The Scoop weighs 4 lbs 3 oz. The 40" long handle makes treasure hunting easier on your back.
